A practically perfect show

Yarra Hills Secondary College students will be bringing the magic of Mary Poppins to life.

They’ll perform Mary Poppins Junior at the school’s Mount Evelyn campus at 7.30pm on Wednesday 15, Thursday 16, Friday 17 and Saturday 18 August.

The show is based on the Walt Disney movie and the original stage show, and features everyone’s favourite songs and characters.

Narrator Bert, played by Tim, introduces the audience to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Brother and sister, Michael and Jane Banks, sent many nannies packing before Mary Poppins arrived on their doorstep.

Mary Poppins, played by Gaia, uses magic and common sense to teach the family members how to value each other again.

A cast of 40 students from across both Yarra Hills campuses has been rehearsing twice a week since May.

Tickets are available through www.trybooking.com/WFSR or at the door.
