A LONG awaited Knox Park upgrade is underway. The $780,000 overhaul will include new changerooms, showers, first-aid rooms, offices, water tanks and solar panels. Friberg Ward councillor Andrew Walter said the new changerooms would cater for four teams simultaneously.
“The improvements will benefit everyone who uses Knox Park, from sporting clubs to casual users,” he said. The improvements are part of Knox Council’s 10 to 15-year Knox Park Master Plan. This first stage will be completed in August.
