THE hills will come alive to the sound of music next month for a night of song and dance.
It’s time to step back in time to the era of the musicals as the Righton Theatre Company hosts it newest production, Hollywood Cavalcade.
The show will feature snippets from some of the world’s all-time favourite musicals including the Sound of Music, My Fair Lady, Oklahoma, Oliver and Annie Get Your Gun.
This night of non-stop entertainment also offers patrons a nip of sherry on arrival and some delicious Devonshire teas.
Hills residents can see this fabulous musical parade on Saturday 16 and 23 May from 7.30pm at the Knox Community Art Centre on the corner of Scoresby and Bayswater roads.
A further two matinee performances will take centre stage on Sunday 17 and 24 May from 2pm.
All proceeds raised from the Hollywood Cavalcade will go towards supporting the Humanitarian Services for Children of Vietnam (HSCV).
The theatre group has been supporting HSCV for the past few years providing bicycles, sewing machines and housing for homeless and orphaned children.
Tickets are now on sale and cost $17 for adults and $14 for concession card holders.
Bookings are essential and can be made by calling Jodie on 9728 5716.
