HAPPY Glaze, a beautiful brightly coloured fun house of creation for all ages is owned by Emily Doust.
Emily, who has previous experience painting ceramics, believed it would be wonderful for the local residents in Ferntree Gully and the surrounding suburbs to enjoy creating their own unique masterpiece.
The fantastic centrally located building was officially opened on Easter Monday, and is now open six days a week for everyone’s enjoyment and seven days a week during the school holiday periods.
Ideal for children’s birthday parties, Happy Glaze birthday children get to choose from a huge selection of ceramic or (bisque) items such as plates, mugs, bowls, platters, money boxes and some gorgeous figurines of all shapes and sizes.
Children get to choose their own items to paint and these are then fired on the premises.
The finished creations can be taken ho`me to enjoy or can be given to someone special.
Another great idea is the plaques that can be made of children’s hands and feet.
These are painted with the child’s choice of colours, and are ideal for a great keepsake for grandparents or parents.
Parents are welcome to call in to see the friendly people at Happy Glaze, relax and have a coffee while the children create their own painted design.
Happy Glaze is at Shop 1, 48 -52 Forest Road, Ferntree Gully.
