MONBULK’S St Paul’s Primary School recently embraced everything Italian.
The students got creative and dressed up for the day with some interesting costumes on Friday 24 July.
After a parade the students took part in a number of Italian inspired activities throughout the day.
Frolics and Fables Theatre Company also visited the schools to perform the popular Il Fagiolo Magico (the Magic Bean) which tells the tale of Jack and the Beanstalk.
Students also enjoyed a traditional Italian meal of pizza and gelato ice-cream.
The day aimed to develop the students’ awareness of Italian culture through drama, storytelling, songs and cultural activities.
