AN OLD fashioned country style Christmas carol service will be hosted by St Hilda’s Church in Macclesfield on Sunday, 18 December.
St Hilda’s Church will be celebrating 100 years of Christmas carols this year with all proceeds from the night going to the Macclesfield fire brigade.
The carols service will not include guest singers, but everyone will have the songs on a sheet of paper and will have the opportunity to join in the fun.
A twilight Christmas stall with decorations will also be one of the features of the night.
Following the carol service everyone will be invited to stay for a country supper which will include a gourmet sausage sizzle, homemade cakes, coffee and tea.
The service starts at 7.30pm and will take place at St Hilda’s Church, Macclesfield Road.
