Kitchen wishes come true- Above: The popular T Bar tea is now stocked at Kitchen Fundamentals.

KITCHEN Fundamentals was opened in 2005 by local Carolyn Sugden with the help and support of husband Paul, a local builder.
Kitchen Fundamentals is a kitchen and homewares store that caters for the needs of the local kitchens.
“We try to have a good colour range rather than whatever is the current fashion so that there should be something for every kitchen,” said Carolyn.
“We stock some branded products such as Victorinox, Mario Batali, Arcosteel, Retro Kitchen, Baccarat, Cuisina and a great range of Wilton cake tins, but generally try to keep items that are more practical and suit the family budget.
“We are also able to access some commercial equipment and cake decorating equipment from pipes to cake boards.”
At Kitchen Fundamentals customers will also find crockery, cutlery, glassware, vases, mixing bowls and candles, including the fabulous range of Ecoya candles.
Also in stock are dish drainers, cutting boards, plate racks, aprons, table runners, placemats, pot racks and the biggest range of clocks imaginable.
For the ladies, Carolyn has a range of trinket boxes, perfume bottles and jewellery trees as well as the most beautiful range of enamelled jewellery plus Bella Beads and bracelets.
“Further into the gift lines we have a great range of novelty but functional Cow and Chicken items.
“If you are looking for something in particular, please ask as we carry a huge range of kitchen utensils including items that you may have thought extinct. “We have recently started to stock Australian-made gourmet products.
“These include Cocoa Farm Chocolates, Kurrajong Australian Native Foods like the Wild Hibiscus flowers in Syrup, and macadamia nut butter.
“We also have Australian native herbs and spices, Byron Bay chocolate-coated coffee beans and Miris products and are hoping to extend this range.”
Lay-by and a gift registry are available.
The gift registry can be for anyone for any occasion not just wedding presents. The everyday registry is called “a wish list” and is a great idea for Mother’s Day, anniversaries and birthdays.
Kitchen Fundamentals is at 5B McBride Street, Cockatoo.
