SAFFRON Cottage Indian Restaurant offers breathtaking Dandenong Ranges views and sublime traditional cuisine.
It’s also a perfect spot for Christmas functions and celebrations.
Owner and manager Nikky Salgadoe said Saffron Cottage was offering a special festive banquet priced at just $42.50 per person.
“Tables of eight people or more also receive a complementary bottle of sparkling wine to enjoy,” she said.
The alfresco area has seating for up to 30 people and is a great spot for a unique Christmas party.
Saffron Cottage prides itself in serving quality foods specialising in north Indian cuisine. “For nearly seven years now we have been wowing the palates of our locals,” Ms Salgadoe said.
“Within our menu you will find remarkable dishes that are reminiscent of heritage recipes that have been passed through the generations.”
“Our chefs have mastered the use of indigenous Asian spices and herbs in cooking and this is especially evident in our signature dishes.”
Head chef Karthik Karanam and his team have unveiled a new menu, spring wine list and two new signature cocktails – minted lychee martini and raspberry vanilla vodka.
Mr Karanam opened Miraaj Indian Restaurant in Boronia 16 years ago.
“To this day most Miraaj customers still travel to Tecoma to have a taste of their favourite Indian,” he said.
Mr Karanam has more than 35 years’ hospitality experience in Australia, the UK and Europe.
“Saffron Cottage offers a totally unique and ultimate dining experience,” Ms Salgadoe said.
The restaurant is currently offering a 10 per cent discount on all takeaway orders.
