YEAR 12 students throughout the hills last week let their down and donned colourful costumes to celebrate their final school days.
Staff and younger students cooked breakfast for Belgrave Heights Christian School’s Year 12 class to begin their final day on Tuesday 19 October.
The school honoured the students at a full school assembly, and they defeated their teachers in a staff versus students netball match. They also attended a valedictory dinner.
Monbulk College’s 78 final year students went all out with their costumes last Wednesday, competing for teacher-voted awards. Mater Christi College’s Year 12s dressed up for a breakfast the same day, followed by an assembly and farewell.
Upwey High School students again covered principal Tom Daly in shaving cream during their celebrations on the school’s oval last Thursday.
Mountain District Christian School’s costumes followed a Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs theme to honour their seven male and one female Year 12 students.
Emerald Secondary College students were in fancy dress last Friday as the sun shone on their activities.
