BIMBIMBIE Wildlife Park is becoming very popular with both families and overseas visitors as more people discover what this hidden sanctuary has to offer.
During the school holidays, families can spend the whole day relaxing at the park with plenty of extra activities to keep the children happy.
Meet friendly farmyard animals, hand feed tame kangaroos and wallabies or deer and see lots of other Australian native animals and birds.
Visit the new koala enclosure and meet Benny and Beau, the park’s resident koalas.
Enjoy a barbecue or picnic with friends and the kids can play ball games in the picturesque picnic area with shelters.
The tearooms are also open and offer great snacks as well as delicious Devonshire teas at affordable prices.
See the puppet show at 11.30am and the very popular reptile show at 2pm during the holidays, or try the Ranger for the Day school holiday program on Thursday, 16 March and Thursday, 23 March from 10am-4pm.
The children spend the whole day at the park doing various activities such as helping to prepare the feed, walking the dingoes, cleaning the reptiles and perhaps even taking the snakes for a slither. Morning tea and lunch are included.
