New team starts off well

THIS is the first year the Emerald Football Club is hosting a netball side, and its first home game was held at the Emerald Secondary College.
The first quarter saw a closely contested game with South Belgrave outscoring Emerald 7 goals to 6.
The second quarter was again close, but Emerald was able to put the extra goals on the board with extra drive from the centre and great teamwork.
Emerald then went on with the game and outscored South Belgrave in the second half.
