Snippets: Friends of George Tindale flower sale

The Friends of Tindale Gardens will be hosting a nursery sale in Sherbrooke for the first time in two years.

Their “post Covid” sale will take place at 9.30am, with all profits going back into the garden, which features a large collection of heritage hydrangeas.

“We normally have nursery sales each month, but as a result of all the lockdowns, we haven’t had a nursery sale for almost two years,” Peter Grouse said on Facebook.

“We only have a very small nursery because the main aim is to grow plants to put back into the garden, but right now it is literally overflowing.”

The George Tindale Memorial Gardens is located at 33 Sherbrooke Road, Sherbrooke.
