With Christmas fast approaching, Cockatoo will be getting a collective songful of Christmas cheer with the return of carols to kick off the holiday season.
A Cockatoo Community Christmas Carols will be held on Sunday 4 December from 5pm to 7.30pm at Alma Treloar Reserve.
The family outdoor event will feature face painting, glitter tattoos, an obstacle course, sumo wrestling, popcorn, fairy floss, snow cones and more.
The carols will begin at 6pm, where the community can join in singing for some Christmas cheer. There will also be a sausage sizzle, coffee, tea and hot jam doughnuts available at a small cost.
The event is being supported by St Luke’s Anglican Church Cockatoo, The Hills Community Strengthening Initiative, Cardinia Shire Council and Cockatoo Bendigo Community Bank. It is alcohol and drug-free.
It is being held at the Cockatoo Playground at Alma Treloar Reserve, which is located at 73 Healesville-Koo Wee Rup Road, Cockatoo.
