A NEW aged care facility has opened in Jackson Street, Croydon.
Tarralla, a Federal Government-funded aged care facility, admitted its first resident on 28 December, 2005.
Tarralla was developed by Third Age Australia and has been under construction since mid 2004.
The building program was long, but the results were worth all the hard work.
The facility’s impressive decor was designed by interior designer Ian Archibald.
Tarralla was designed by Terry Edwards, an architect who specialises in retirement village and aged care projects.
The professionally-landscaped grounds are inviting, with the private courtyards sure to be a popular attraction on fine days.
Third Age Australia has developed four new aged care facilities over the past few years and now operates six facilities, as well as providing community-based aged care.
Tarralla continues the theme of quality and comfort that is a feature in Third Age’s other residential facilities, and promises to provide a warm and welcoming environment to those lucky enough to call Tarralla their new home.
Most importantly, Third Age has an unblemished quality accreditation record and seems certain to continue that record at Tarralla by providing a high standard of care and comfort to all residents.
Information regarding the services provided at Tarralla or the adjoining retirement village units may be obtained by contacting Third Age’s admissions manager, Nicholas Wirubov, on 9723 8029.
