Boral Shield for Upwey-Tecoma

UPWEY-Tecoma Tennis Club scooped the pool at the Montrose Open Tennis Tournament, which was held from Monday, 25 September, to Friday, 29 September.
Ben Jones (12), Louise Jones (15) and Emily Thomson (15) won five of the top classes including the Boral Challenge Shield for 18 and under mixed doubles.
Upwey-Tecoma will take pleasure in displaying the Boral Challenge Shield in its clubhouse for the next 12 months.
The players performed well above their station to win against very strong opposition.

Boys 13 and under singles: Ben Jones.
Boys 13 and under doubles: Ben Jones.
Girls 16 and under doubles: Louise Jones and Emily Thomson.
Girls 18 and under doubles: Louise Jones and Emily Thomson.
18 and under Mixed Doubles: Ben Jones and Louise Jones (Boral Challenge Shield).
