HILLS people should not miss the opportunity to enjoy a little jazz by the pool at Monbulk Aquatic Centre later this month.
Jazz by the Pool will be the perfect family fun day with entertainment for all to enjoy.
Bossanation, a dynamic jazz duo, will entertain people with their smooth tones and great rhythms.
Join the duo of Tony Andrews, Jacinta Chow and Richard ‘Harpo’ Fenton as they perform a number of jazz and Latin infused tunes.
People are also invited to bring along a picnic and rug and relax on the grass as Bossanation takes centre stage.
The children will also be kept entertained as they are given unlimited access to the swimming pool.
Entry to the pool plus a gold coin donation is all that this fabulous day will cost.
All funds raised from both the entry fee and the gold coin donation will go towards the YMCA Open Doors charity program.
The program allows funds to be put directly back into the local community.
Helen Hostettler of the Monbulk Aquatic Centre said the funds would be used to help underprivileged people pay for swimming lessons or even a three-month gym membership.
“It (the money) can be used to help out a family in crisis to help pay for swimming lessons for their children,” she said.
Jazz by the Pool will not only be a day out for the family but will also be a way to help the needy.
This fantastic family fun day will start at 1pm on Sunday 24 February at the Monbulk Aquatic Centre, Baynes Park Road, Monbulk.
