SHAPING the minds of Monbulk’s youngest students is a dream come true for new teacher Jessica Lawson.
Ms Lawson, 23, has moved from her hometown of Kyabram to teach at Monbulk Primary School.
This comes only months after finishing her degree in primary teaching.
Ms Lawson said she was drawn to apply for the job in Monbulk because she had a friend living close by.
She is now having the time of her life teaching her composite grade of prep-one and loves every moment.
“Everything is great here and everyone is really helpful and the kids are just a delight to teach,” she said.
Ms Lawson is now excited about getting involved in the local community and getting to know everyone.
