KALLISTA Uniting Church is set to put on an exhibition with a difference with an array of artistic works displayed on patches of fabric.
The exhibition, Zig Zag – Three A3s, will be held on Saturday, 9, and Sunday, 10 September and will feature Victorian quilters Susan Mathews, Yvonne Voss and June Brown’s patchwork.
The exhibition will feature more than 50 themes including landscapes and portraits on small pieces of fabric.
The work also highlights countless patch working techniques including machine quilting, embroidery and hand dying.
Those interested in seeing some of these works of patch working art should visit the exhibition between 10.30am and 4.30pm at the Kallista Uniting Church, 92 Monbulk Road.
Entry to the exhibition is $5 for adults and children are free and refreshments will also be available.
