Horse skills ride high at equestrian centre

RANGES Equestrian Centre’s fun filled school holiday program is operating week days between 19 and 29 December 2006 and will be operating again between 2 and 25 January 2007.
The centre is accredited with the Australian Horse Riding Centres and qualified, experienced and friendly instructors operate under high safety standards. “Come and have a great horse experience with us,” said the centre’s director Yvonne Speekman.
“Our horses and ponies are fully trained and well mannered and will become favourites with the children.
“Programs are conducted in the indoor arena and consist of basic riding skills for inexperienced children or dressage and jumping and outdoor riding for the more experienced rider. All children learn basic safety skills around horses.”
Half day programs are suitable for children between six and 11 years old with little or no riding experience at a cost of $55.
Full day programs are suitable for children from eight years old with more experience at a cost of $80.
Ranges Equestrian Centre is located at 2425 Healesville-Kooweerup Road, Yellingbo, conveniently only 15 minutes from Emerald, Monbulk and Yarra Junction.
