SWEET-DREAMING Knox-dwellers yearning for something new to get their teeth into will not have to wait much longer.
International doughnut giant Krispy Kreme will set up shop in Knox O-Zone on Tuesday, 19 December.
The store will open its doors at 8am and the famous ‘hot light’, which glows neon red when Original Glazed doughnuts are coming hot off the line, will immediately light up the lives of doughnut-loving locals. The 220-metre squared store will open less than a fortnight after the company launches a Melbourne Central outlet.
It will be the fifth of its kind in Victoria and will sell 15 varieties of doughnut, including glazed blueberry-filled, chocolate-iced custard-filled and traditional cinnamon.
It will also sell ice cream, espresso-style coffee, fruit chillers and old-fashioned milkshakes.
Whole lot of doughnuts opening up
