SHERBROOKE Suns Amateur Basketball Association player Mick Hill recently took out the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award for the second consecutive season.
Hill a worthy candidate of the award is the first player in the history of the club to take out back-to-back MVP awards.
He has also been selected as the All Star Five Championship – Guard and the Big V championship men’s leading scorer to go with the Amateur Basketball Association Leading Scorer award for 35.1 points per game.
Jason Eversteyn also took out several awards for his rebounding skills including Big V Leading Rebounder, and Leading Block Shots trophies.
Both Hill and Eversteyn were unable to attend the awards night as they were at their respective NBL clubs.
Hill is currently playing his third season with the Brisbane Bullets and Eversteyn is in his first season as a Hunter Pirate.
