Kid caring shows

FERNTREE Gully Hotel will pull out all stops to entertain hills people to help raise money for the Royal Children’s Hospital next month.
It will host a Rockabilly and Rock ‘n’ Roll Charity Gala on Good Friday, 6 April.
Fifteen bands will play in two rooms of the hotel and a huge dance floor will also be set up for the night.
The gala starts at 4pm and costs $15 with all proceeds going to the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal.
A month of non-stop entertainment will continue on Thursday, 12 April when Densie Drysdale takes centre stage.
Ms Drysdale, best known for her varied television roles on Hey Hey It’s Saturday and the Norman Gunston Show, will entertain the crowd.
The show starts at 1pm and costs $35 for lunch and the show or $15 for just the show.
Finishing off a bumper month of entertainment, the Ferntree Gully Hotel will welcome the Idols of the ’80s to centre stage on Saturday, 14 April.
The Idols of the ’80s will perform some of the favourite hits from that era such as Get out of My House, Catch Me I’m Falling, and Funky Town.
The show costs $26 and the doors open at 8.30pm.
Those interested in taking in one of the bands on Good Friday or one of the other shows throughout April can visit the Ferntree Gully Hotel, 1130 Burwood Highway, and be prepared to be entertained.
