Sound out music venue

THE Aztec Bar has long been the relaxed, funky venue of Belgrave, the place to catch favourite music or gather with friends for a quiet drink.
Now patrons can incorporate a menu that is full of fresh delights for the vegetarian and salad lover.
Throw in regular specials like kids eat free on Sundays and free coffee with cake Mondays and Tuesdays and you have the new Aztec Bar Lounge Cafe, a funky and friendly cafe.
The Aztec Bar also has a huge new stage that is home to some of the best music the hills and Melbourne can provide, firing up five nights and weekend days.
Events to look out for are The ETWA Community Festival on Sunday, 26 November, starting at 2pm, with Marissa Yeaman, Prajna, Jed Rowe, Michelle Chandler and Denise Smith and others performing live.
Also not to be missed is Simon Phillips on Saturday, 25 November at 2pm on the balcony.
Just launched is the CD Shop and a catalogue of about 20 CDs to choose from so visitors can call in and have a listen while having lunch.
The Aztec Bar is at 7-9 Bayview Road, Belgrave.
It is open for lunch seven days a week and dinner Wednesday to Sunday. Phone 9754 1004.
