KNOX Skate and BMX Park is set to host a series of free workshops and demonstrations.
Simply Skateboarding will run a range of activities and clinics at the bowl, starting with a BMX and skateboard competition from 2pm on Saturday 15 March.
Free games of S-K-A-T-E will feature on Sunday 16 March from 2.30pm.
Beginners can improve their technique with workshops on Wednesday 26 March and Wednesday 2 April from 10.30am.
There will be a BMX demonstration from 2pm on Saturday 29 March and a skate and BMX competition on Sunday 30 March 1pm.
“This facility is one of the best in the country and we want everyone to know about it,” Knox councillor Debbie Field said.
The facility was completed in January this year.
Minister for Sport, Recreation and Youth Affairs James Merlino will officially open the bowl on 5 April.
Skateboards and safety gear will be provided for all visitors.

The Knox Skate and BMX Park is located at Gilbert Park, Ferntree Gully Road, Knoxfield.
