SPRING is in the air and flowers are blooming as the Ferny Creek Horticulture Society hosts its annual flower show.
This year the annual spring flower show will have something for everyone from flowers to jazz music.
The 75th annual spring show will be held on Saturday, 8 and Sunday, 9 September at the horticultural society’s gardens at 100 Hilton Road, Ferny Creek.
Hills people can jump into the spirit of spring and look for some new bulbs for their garden this summer.
An array of foliage displays will be on show as well as fresh flowers and craft stalls.
Those looking for a little bit of light entertainment can listen to the musical trio of the Jazz Antics.
The trio, which features Suzann Frisk on vocal, will entertain garden lovers with some 20th century jazz ballads.
Glass artist Amanda Louden will also have a display of her work on show.
The horticultural society is also offering tours of its magnificent 10 acres of gardens.
Light lunches and Devonshire Teas will be available at the show or people can bring along a picnic lunch. The show is open on Saturday, from 1pm to 4.30pm and on Sunday from 10am to 4pm and entry costs $5 for adults. For more information about the show contact the horticultural society on 9755 1882 or Phil Hastings on 9755 2135.
