Heaven sent tribute band

ROCKERS’ Claptonesque will return to the hills to perform another fantastic night of rock‘n’roll.
Back by popular demand, the first ever Eric Clapton band will take centre stage at the Burrinja Gallery in Upwey on Saturday.
Following a sold out debut show last November, the band is looking forward to performing some of Clapton’s classic hits.
Eric Clapton is renowned for his work with bands such as Cream, Blind Faith, Derek and the Dominos and the groundbreaking John Mayall Blues Breakers album.
He is also a multi-Grammy award winning guitarist, singer and composer and is regarded as one of the most influential musicians of the rock era.
Following a lifetime of following Clapton’s career and music, hills songwriter Dave McFarlane started up the first ever tribute ban.
Assembling an experienced group of musicians, McFarlane was able to live out his dream and create a tribute band to his idol.
Following a smash-hit debut in November, Claptonesque is now promising another night not to be missed at the Burrinja Gallery, 351 Glenfern Road, Upwey, on Saturday 23 February.
The show will feature some classic Clapton hits such as Tears in Heaven, I Shot the Sheriff and Layla.
For a great night of rock n roll don’t miss the Claptonesque as they put on a show not to be missed.
Tickets are now on sale and cost $10 per person and bookings can be made by calling 9754 6628.
