A GROUP of disorderly Mount Dandenong revellers were dispersed by police using capsicum spray shortly after midnight on Sunday, 28 April.
Belgrave Police Sergeant Mick Hall said the party on Oakley Street was attended by “a fairly obnoxious crowd” of 20 to 30 youths.
Attending officers used two canisters of capsicum spray to subdue the group during an altercation.
Police said that no significant injuries were sustained in the incident and no arrests were made.
Sgt Hall said that a police-issue torch was stolen after being dropped during the scuffle.
In a bid to recover the black rechargeable Maglight, police are appealing for information about anyone who is in possession of a torch with police markings.
