HILLS people can hear the drums calling.
Peta Minter of Narre Warren is bringing her African drumming workshops to Belgrave next month.

She has played with some of Australia’s top musicians including drum master David Jones and saxophonist Fiona Burnett.

Rhythmology offers workshops that are fun and exciting for all ages.
The six-week introductory workshop teaches people simple traditional west African rhythms, arrangements and basic techniques.
Peta also offers a beginners workshop which is a follow-up of the introductory course.
The African drumming workshops will start next month at Belgrave South Primary School and at the Casey Lifestyle Centre in Narre Wareen.
The introductory course cost $150-160 and the beginners $100 with a special offer of free drum hire.
