GOLDEN Cobra School of Martial Arts in Belgrave offers martial arts training for three-year-olds to 60-year-olds.
Self defence, fitness and boxing classes are also offered with family classes a great way to be active together as a family.
Highly trained and motivated instructors are on hand at Golden Cobra to ensure correct techniques and safe training methods.
Head instructor Richard Adams has been in training for 13 years and instructors at the school hold many national and international titles, including 2006 Martial Artist of the Year.
“Martial arts training and discipline can help children with a wide range of issues, such as bullying, respect and commitment as well as improving health and fitness,” said Richard.
The school was established in Belgrave 22 years ago and through hard work and commitment, has grown to become one of the most successful karate schools in the south east of Melbourne.
One of Golden Cobra’s strengths is the encouragement of parents to come to classes with their children, so the whole family can enjoy participating together.
Daytime, afternoon and evening classes, Monday to Saturday are held to make is easier for families to attend.
A new timetable is in place for 2008 and includes classes in fitness, women’s sparring and self-defence.
