EMERALD artist Vyvyan Bloomfield will share her work with hills art critics with the opening of her latest exhibition.
This veteran artist has been chosen as the artist of the month at Lady Hawke Café in Mt Dandenong.
Ms Bloomfield’s latest work titled, Artenergy, will be on display during April.
The exhibition will be launched on Saturday 5 April at 7pm.
Hills art buffs won’t be disappointed with a mixture of oil paintings, watercolours, pastels and charcoal sketches on display.
For Ms Bloomfield Art has always been a passion every since she was a young child.
She has been painting for more than 25 years and says that her passion for art has never waived.
“I have a passion for life, colour and form – art entices and excited me,” Ms Bloomfield said.
“It (art) enables me the freedom to fly with my imagination.”
Ms Bloomfield has always had a passion for art and said it was a great way to express herself.
“At school, I was one of those kids that, instead of studying my maths book, I was drawing on it instead.”
Those wanting to see Ms Bloomfield’s latest work can visit the Lady Hawke Café, 1365 Mt Dandenong Tourist Road between 9am and 5pm, from Thursday to Sunday.
