ACATT Shop proprietor Christine Scully and the staff are fulfilling clients’ requests by designing a number of seminars on the most requested topics.
The two-hour seminars will provide information on natural health care, and run on Mondays and Tuesdays at 2pm at the purple and gold ACATT shop in Monbulk.
The topics proposed are: Herbal Teas, Arthritis Care, Weight Control, Cholesterol Management, Boosting Your Immune System and Managing Anxiety/ Sleep Issues.
“Each seminar will be packed with valuable information and all participants will leave with extensive notes,” said Christine.
“The presenters of these seminars will aim to ensure the seminar presentation is of greatest use for you in your life.”
In the area of animal care, ACATT is offering a two-day intensive Horse Massage Course in Wandin on 12 and 13 April.
This course is open to all horse enthusiasts; the instructor is Melinda Bailey, who holds a Diploma of Equine Tactile Therapy.
“Melinda will teach equine movement, massage, stretching, recognition of common problems and how to decide when a practitioner is required,” said Christine.
“It includes valuable information to allow horse enthusiasts to enhance the performance of their beloved equine friend.”
Contact ACATT as soon as possible to reserve a place in this exciting program.
A one day course in Equine Nutrition will be run by Christine (BAPPSci Equine Studies), covering the digestive system, how to formulate a natural diet, the issues arising from poorly balanced nutrition and how to ensure a horse’s diet is adequate and remains within the budget.
“Herbs and natural care are becoming more sought after in the horse industry,” she said.
“To ensure you are able to approach this realm with knowledge, I have designed a one day course in herbs and natural therapies for horses.
“Attending will ensure you develop skills and knowledge useful for all horses that enter your world.”
These programs are a fantastic opportunity for the people in the Monbulk area to enhance their knowledge in natural health for themselves and their animals.
Pop in and have a chat with the staff at ACATT and they will reserve a place.
Staff would also like to know of any other topics of interest so a seminar can be organised.
