PREMIER cabaret act the Soubrettes promises to be one of the funniest performances to grace the stage at Burrinja Gallery in Upwey.
Hills audiences will be kept entertained with a sassy assortment of irreverent cabaret, Vaudevillian slapstick and puppetry when the Soubrettes take centre stage on Saturday, 14 July.
The Soubrettes are known for taking a tongue-in-cheek look at issues from drugs to poverty and seamlessly marrying them with highly inappropriate lyrics with sweet melodies that will keep audiences in stitches of laughter.
The Soubrettes have been performing their original form of cabaret to sell-out crowds since 1997 and have toured both Australia and New Zealand leaving behind a trail of laughter.
The group’s song I Wanna Be a Drug Addict has also become a cult classic on Triple J radio station.
The Soubrettes cabaret act will be a night not to be missed at the Burrinja Gallery Café, 351 Glenfern Road, Upwey, on Saturday, 14 July.
Tickets are now on sale and cost $24 or $20 for concession cardholders and Jarmbi members. To make a booking call 9754 8723.
