THE time has come for hills people to rock’n’roll as the Ferntree Gully Hotel turns up the heat on a month of non-stop entertainment.
Those looking for a great night out should not miss old-time favourite’s Babba on Friday 7 December.
Babba, an exciting tribute band to Abba, promises to take audiences on a spellbinding tour of the ‘70s music scene.
Rockers Airbourne will also get the party started at the Ferntree Gully Hotel on Friday 14 December.
Airbourne, one of Australia’s up coming rock band, led by Joel O’Keefe, promises to rival AC/DC with its ear-splitting, sweat-soaked rock’n’roll.
But for those looking for something new, The Beautiful Girls is a show not to be missed.
The Beautiful Girls, one of Australia’s up-and-coming roots bands will take centre stage on Saturday 15 December.
This eclectic band, led by Mat McHugh, offers a range of tunes from rock and reggae, to pop and folk music.
Hills people wanting to make some new friends should not miss the Ferntee Gully Hotel’s 28’s night – “an elegant affair” is held every Sunday from 7pm.
Enjoy a two-course buffet and make some great new friends for just $18 per person or for those just wanting to enjoy a great night out entry costs $10.
Those wanting to attend one of the 28’s nights should dress to impress, no denim or full-buttoned collard shirts allowed. DJ Lou and some great live bands will be on offer every week at the 28’s night.
Hills people looking for a relaxing night out should not miss Fudge as they play some old time favourite tunes plus some current hits in the Flanagan’s room from 10pm every Friday.
Those looking to rein in the New Year with a party not to be missed should not go past the Ferntree Gully Hotel’s Rock in 2008 Rockabilly night.
Two great bands, six hours of music, and a buffet dinner will all be on offer at the Rockabilly concert. Tickets cost $40 for buffet or $20 for entry.
