Top brains join for fundraiser

BELGRAVE Preschool is calling all brainiacs to join the trivia challenge of the century.
For the first time ever, Belgrave is joining forces with other hills kindergartens for a fundraising extravaganza. The trivia night will be held on Saturday 9 August and will be a battle for the coveted brainiest kindergarten title.
Laura Spirt of Belgrave Pre-School said five kindergartens had joined in the challenge but there was still time for others to join in.
Ms Spirt said if the trivia night was a success it would become an annual event and hosted by a different kindergarten each year.
Five kindergartens have joined the challenge this year including Belgrave, Mt Dandenong, Selby, Len Jeffrey Memorial in Belgrave South and Kallista.
The inaugural Brainiest Kinder trophy and title will be up for grabs on Saturday night at the Upwey Community Hall, 1443 Burwood Highway from 7.30pm. Tickets are now on sale and cost $15 which includes a light supper, live music and the trivia challenge. To join the challenge contact Ms Spirt on 0428 375 227.
