LOCAL theatre company, ITT Productions will have audiences in fits of laughter with their latest offering – A Chorus of Disapproval.
The cast of 13 will bring to life this Alan Ayckbourn comedy, a play within a play, set in a small town, where a second-rate amateur theatre company, the Pendon Amateur Light Operatic Society, muffs the way through rehearsals of The Beggars Opera.
Audiences will relate to the larger-than-life characters and the intertwining relationships formed during the rehearsal process.
ITT prides itself on giving all winning theatre buffs of any age a chance to get up on stage to strut their stuff, or a chance to develop a range of skills behind the scenes.
First-time director Carol Yates is no newcomer to the theatre scene. She is more affectionately known as Cas to her cast and crew.
“A Chorus of Disapproval provides the opportunity for ITT to allow a new director to display her skills,” productions producer Ian Sparrow said. “We are pleased to give Cas the opportunity to direct her first show.
