A COMEDIAN, a celebrity and men’s health information will feature at the inaugural Secret Men’s Stuff event month.
Guest appearances on the night will include iconic cricket personality Merv Hughes, comedian Fox Klien and men’s health worker Rod Shearer who will combine to provide an evening of entertainment and information.
Secret’s Men’s Stuff ‘08 organiser Stephen Barrington said the event is a chance to explore some of the issues about what it means to be a man today.
He said that the event was sponsored and organised to address the lack of acceptable men’s health information in the Knox area. Mr Barrington said the event will be full of fun, laughs, activities, games, show bags and giveaways.
“There will be free food, great coffee and free massages…an open bar and some great guest speakers,” Mr Barrington said.
More than 150 men are expected to attend the event, which will be Merv Hughes’ last appearance before flying to India as part of the Australian cricket team the morning after.
The inaugural event is funded through Knox City Council Community Grants scheme and will be held at the Ferntree Gully Cricket Club.
