BELGRAVE Heights Christian School staff and students last week farewelled the school’s first Year 12 class.
Principal Andy Callow said the students had watched their tiny school grow.
“As their bodies have grown taller and stronger, they have also been part of the whole school community growing stronger and more extensive,” he said.
The eight graduating students started their final day with a breakfast and a whole of school assembly.
The day’s highlight was a skit featuring staff dressed as aged rockers.
Get Staffed performed the Alice Cooper anthem School’s Out in true rockstar fashion, smashing a guitar and throwing ripped books into the audience.
At Belgrave’s Mater Christi College, Year 12s began their celebrations with friends and family at a valedictory mass on Tuesday night.
The next morning students donned their primary school uniforms to enjoy a breakfast with staff and a final college assembly.
