Coaches aim for Bomber flag

EMERALD Football Club is hoping to shore up that elusive premiership flag this season with a brand new coaching roster.
Michael Scoon has taking up the top job as seniors’ coach, while Steven Sullivan and Jamie Marshall have teamed up to lead the under-18s to another successful year.
Tim Wright is the new reserves’ coach and Tony Walker takes the veterans.
Scoon, former North Melbourne star, hopes to lead the seniors to a premiership this season.
Football manager Graham Steer said the Bombers were fielding a lot of bright stars this season.
He said the new coaching staff would help breath life back into the club for 2009.
“The boys are now in training for the pre-season that will begin in the next few weeks,” he said.
Training is every Monday and Wednesday nights from 6pm at Chandler Reserve, Belgrave-Gembrook Road, Emerald. Any new players are welcome to join in a training sessions or can phone Graham Steer on 0408 333 638.
