PICTURES inspired by the land will go on show in the Dandenongs on Saturday.
The exhibition has been collaboration between the Knox Photographic Society and the Karwarra Australian Plant Garden in Kalorama.
It features shots of Australia as seen through the lenses of the society’s snappers.
The show titled Our Land Through Our Lenses will be officially launched by award winning Kallista photographer, Andrew Chapman on Saturday 28 February at 11am.
A range of shots from still life to landscapes and textures will be on display.
Photography buff will not be disappointed with this amazing array of wildlife and flora and fauna captured in print.
The exhibition will run until 15 March and the photographers will be available on most days to talk to visitors.
Free workshops will also be held on the first two weekends of the exhibition (28 February, 1, 7 and 8 March) from 11am.
People should not miss the chance to also take a stroll through the gardens which are bustling with a wide range of Aussie plants.
The exhibition will be open from 10am to 4pm and can be found at Mt Dandenong Tourist Road, Kalorama.
Entry to the garden and the show cost just $3.50 and children are free.
