A NIGHT to remember will take place in Emerald on Saturday (10 October) when The Emerald Greenroom celebrates its opening from 7.30pm.
Live music and finger food will be provided and drinks can be purchased at bar prices.
The Emerald Greenroom owners and managers Jacqui Walker and Glen Walker have invited everyone to go along.
“Join us and experience a warm, welcoming easy-going atmosphere where quality entertainment and great food at great prices is our focus,” they said.
The venue has a full liquor licence and a well stocked bar.
It is open for breakfast on Saturdays and Sundays and for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
Live entertainment is performed on Friday and Saturday nights and on Sunday afternoons.
“This will range from a soloist and duo to small bands performing a range of musical acts, primarily solos or duos,” Jacqui said.
“We also envisage having other types of performing artists as well, from time to time.
“We have karaoke on Thursday nights and theme nights are planned.
“The Greenroom is also available for functions and birthday parties etc.”
This is Jacqui and Glen’s first venture into the hospitality industry.
“We have both come from an entertainment background, having performed in pubs, clubs and casinos across Victoria and parts of Australia,” they said.
Jacqui has been a performing arts teacher in primary and secondary schools for the past five years and is involved in several community groups including the Pave Festival committee and Gemco Players.
Glen has been working in the IT industry for the past 10 years.
Celebrate with Jacqui and Glen at The Emerald Greenroom, 369 Belgrave-Gembrook Road, Emerald.
Opening hours are 11.30am to 10pm Monday to Wednesday, 11.30am to 11pm Thursday, 11.30am to midnight Friday, 8am to 1am Saturday (at present) and 10am to 11pm Sunday.
