Jump in for summer health

MONBULK Aquatic Centre services offer a wide range of activities for all ages.
Not many people know that approximately 2000 people visit the centre each week of the year.
Staff suggest that those who haven’t visited the aquatic yet should “get up, get out and get fit for summer”.
“There is much on offer at our centre,” they said.
“Teenagers can unwind from exam stress in the gym for only $4 a session.
“Fun and fitness are combined with quality supervision for challenging and varied programs.
“Infants will enjoy water temperatures of 31degrees Celsius plus as they learn water buoyancy and familiarity through games and songs.”
Children from beginners through to squad level are catered for in the Royal Life Saving Swim and Survive swimming program at the centre.
Adults can join squads, learn to swim, participate in water aerobics or attend the land-based exercise classes such as boxing, step, Pilates, X training, or yoga.
All staff at the centre are qualified in their specific field of expertise and the site is a registered Austswim centre.
This week the Monbulk Aquatic Centre is celebrating Seniors Week.
“As part of the community celebrations we will be supplying free tea, coffee and biscuits after each daytime water aerobics session,” said staff. “We would love to see you enjoying our programs.”
