Bus drivers needed- Mount Evelyn Community Transport Project coordinator Jim Humphrey needs dr

A NEW Mount Evelyn bus service needs help to assist the town’s vulnerable and disadvantaged residents.
Mount Evelyn Community Transport Project is calling for volunteer drivers for a free service to support locals who have difficulty getting around.
The bus will transport residents from or near their home to the town centre and return them three hours later.
The service is a Mount Evelyn Township Improvement Committee (METIC) and Mount Evelyn Christian Reformed Church initiative.
It is aimed at young mothers with small children and people with limited mobility.
The service will run on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, excluding public holidays.
It will visit four Mount Evelyn areas one morning and one afternoon each week.
The morning service departs at 9am and arrives at the town centre about 10am.
Afternoon runs begin at 1.15pm and arrive in town about 2pm.
Phone Jim Humphrey on 9736 2130 for more information.
