LITTLE Angels are again working miracles for a hills fire crew.
Upper Ferntree Gully Fire Brigade captain Peter Smith and local photographer Fran O’Connor have unveiled the 2010 Little Angels Calendar, which raises cash for the CFA crew.
It’s the eighth edition of the annual fundraiser, which Mr Smith said would help purchase equipment for the brigade’s two new ‘slip on’ support vehicles.
“Any money we get is very important,” he said.
“Fran’s been a great supporter of the brigade for years.”
“We really appreciate her efforts and those of the rest of the community.”
This year’s 12 stars were chosen from more than 100 entries.
Ms O’Connor is now calling for children aged 4 and under to pose for the 2011 edition.
A $25 entrance fee covers costs to produce the calendar and includes a half-hour portrait session.
Entries close on 30 October. Readers can visit www.studio3melbourne.com.au or phone 9758 8618 to enter.
The 2010 calendars are available from Studio3, 1214 Burwood Highway, Upper Ferntree Gully or the Upper Ferntree Gully Fire Station, also on Burwood Highway.
