Embrace the passion

THE Hart School of Dance is now in its 33rd successful year of business.
Sue Lowery started the dance school back in 1978 and has now handed over the reins to her two daughters, Brooke and Mandy.
The girls are both successful professional dancers in their own right. Brooke was most recently involved in The Production Company’s Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Mandy was the hostess on Channel 9 show Bert’s Family Feud.
But it’s their passion for teaching and their students that they embrace the most.
Through their connections in the dance industry, they are able to bring to the dance school some of the most sort after professional teachers in Melbourne.
Two long standing students of the school were recently accepted into one of Melbourne’s most prestigious full time dance courses at Patrick Studios Australia.
Michele Imfeld has just completed her first year, earning an award for Most Improved Female, and Shae Vantilburg will commence this year.
The Hart School of Dance not only prides itself on its professionalism but also teaching the love and joy of dance itself.
Focusing on jazz, tap and musical theatre, the dance school also specialises in a fun and exciting tiny tots class for three to five-year-olds, a specialist boys class and ballet classes for junior to intermediate students.
Readers can visit www.hartschoolofdance. com.au for all studio, contact and enrolment details. Classes commence 2 February.
