MICAWBER Tavern is a unique pub and restaurant situated on Monbulk Road, Belgrave.

The tavern has a variety of areas for visitors to enjoy – the Charles Dickens room with its new large screen plasma and comfy club lounge chairs; the bar area with table seating or old world barrels and bar stools; the restaurant area with the dance floor where they can strut their stuff to the many great bands that play; or the beer garden, with a beautiful freshwater creek gurgling through it and an outdoor bar and barbecue area that can be used for events and functions.
Micawber Tavern offers finger food, bar meals, bistro meals, set menus and more, catering to all needs from the casual drop-in through to functions and weddings.
Micawber’s has live entertainment or fantastic meal deals most nights of the week including trivia, global schnitzel night, great live bands including artists like Jimmy Hocking and Geoff Achison, fantastic cover bands on Sundays, and rock ‘n’ roll/rockabilly nights.
Also starting up on the last Friday of every month from 29 October is the Micawber jam night.
“Whether you’ve driven past for years and have always wondered about the place, or you want to enjoy a casual drink or dinner out, whether you want to have a boogie or relax in the beer garden, whether there’s two or 200 of you come and visit or call us for a great time out,” owner Kriss Beatty-Johnson said. Micawber Tavern is open seven days a week for lunch, dinner and drinks.
