PEMBROKE Secondary College Year 12 students last week celebrated their final school days with colourful costumes and carnival treats.
The 80 students enjoyed Mr Whippy ice creams, fairy floss and pizza and dressed as their favourite film and television characters, sports stars, animals and objects at the Mooroolbark Senior Campus last Wednesday.
Campus principal Dennis Cody said the school had avoided any Year 12 pranks for the past 14 years by providing students with fun, games and freedom.
“They don’t want to spoil that for other students,” he said.
“My message is that they want to leave here with good memories.”
Students also reminisced about their time at Pembroke at an assembly featuring their old school snaps.
