FITNESS and fundraising will go hand in hand this Sunday when walkers and runners pound the pavement to the mighty ‘G – Monbulk Cricket Ground.
The Monbulk Fun Run will raise cash for SIDS and Kids and features two courses, both starting and finishing with a lap of the footy oval.
The four kilometre course takes participants to Monbulk College and back along bike track, and the eight kilometre track loops the scenic roads of Monbulk including David Hill, Cavey and Old Emerald roads.
Bacon and eggs, fruit and tea and coffee will follow.
Runner and walkers are encouraged to wear something red to support SIDS and Kids.
There will be medallions and prizes for the first male and female across the line in the open age and under 18 categories, the first mum or dad with pram to finish and more.
Registration is from 8am to 8.30am for a 9am sharp start. Entry is $20 for adults and $10 for kids under 12, including breakfast.
