AN AVID soccer player with excellent leadership skills took home the Casey Sportsperson of the Year award for 2011.
Senahid Tokalic, who has the potential to play soccer at an elite level, was selected to represent Australia at the Footskills International Tournament in Singapore as well as to play for the Victorian Champions League team. The Victorian Champions League is an important step for players who have the capacity to compete at a national level.
The Endeavour Hills Secondary College student has also displayed exceptional leadership skills both on and off the field, having been named the captain of the Year 8 school soccer team which reached the zone finals, and was named school class captain.
Senahid has developed a great relationship and reputation amongst his peers and teachers for being a polite and positive young man who is a role model for others.
