GRANDPARENTS made a special visit to St Michael’s Primary School in Berwick.
On Thursday, 12 May, St Michael’s Primary School Principal Michael Hanney welcomed grandparents to spend the morning with their grandchildren in the junior grades.
The day began with mass in the St Michael’s Parish church followed by a guided visit to the school’s stadium, where the children showed off their artwork and participated in numerous activities.
Students then entertained their grandparents with an Andrew Chinn song Arky Arky, Let Your Light Shine.
Mr Hanney said grandparents had positive comments about the special day.
“At St Michael’s we value these experiences where families can connect with their child’s school life,” Mr Hanney said.
A grand day out
