A NARRE Warren man was allegedly confronted by men armed with a double-barrel shotgun last week.
The victim, 35, told police he had gone into his caravan outside of residential premises on Victoria Road when he heard a knock on the door.
Two men, one wearing a balaclava and pointing a double-barrel shotgun at him, forced their way into the caravan.
Police said the man allegedly grabbed the shotgun and pushed the intruder out of the caravan, but the second intruder punched the 35-year-old in the head.
The two men then ran from the scene. Police said nothing was stolen.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Narre Warren Police Station on 9705 3111 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
